Who we are?

Hội Chữ thập đỏ Việt Nam là tổ chức xã hội nhân đạo của quần chúng, do Chủ tịch Hồ Chí Minh sáng lập ngày 23/11/1946 và Người làm Chủ tịch danh dự đầu tiên của Hội.

Chúng tôi đã đoàn tụ gia đình từ năm 1972. Mọi người đều có quyền biết những gì đã xảy ra với những người thân yêu của họ.

Thông qua mạng lưới toàn cầu của mình, chúng tôi có thể giúp các gia đình ở bên nhau hoặc đoàn tụ nếu họ bị phân tán bởi một cuộc khủng hoảng nhân đạo như xung đột, thiên tai hoặc di cư. Chúng tôi sẽ cố gắng hết sức để hỗ trợ gia đình bạn trong thời gian cố gắng này. test

What we do?

If the loss of family contact resulting from a situation of armed conflict, in the event of natural or other disaster and/or pther situation of humanitarian need, Viet Nam Red Cross may help you with the following services.

Tracing Request

When all efforts to find your loved one are fruitless and other methods of restoring contact have proved unsuccessful, tracing requests may be used. Information provided by the enquirer will be used by the Viet Nam Red Cross and the Red Cross/Red Crescent branches to initiate a search in Vietnam and in other countries.

Red Cross Message

The Red Cross Message (RCM) form is an unsealed letter aiming to exchange family news. which can be read by the authorities and other parties. RCMs are not private letters, therefore, the authorities may ask at any time to read them in order to ensure that they deal only with family matters.

Family reunification

In ideal situations where all criteria are accepted, Viet Nam Red Cross in cooperation with ICRC, other National societies, the relevant government authorities and/or, possibly, the UNHCR will take all possible steps to facilitate the reunification of families.

Restoring family links messages

The following messages may be useful to limit the contact of family contact.

If you are living far from home

• Keep in touch with your family by phone, message or email.
• Regularly inform your family of where you are.
• Stay in touch for timely support if your family have elderly people living alone.
• Take the contact details of a neighbor or of someone who regularly keep in touch with your family.

If you have children

• Teach your children memorize phone number of their family members.
• If your children are alone when you are in hospital or quarantine, ask medical staffs for help.

How is your information processed?

Your request will be processed as following steps

Acceptance

Viet Nam Red Cross receives information with acceptance criteria from those who wish to reconnect with families.

Transmission

The search request will be safely forwarded to the members of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, including the relevant Red Cross chapter (if it is a domestic case) and the relevant National Societies (if the case is outside Viet Nam.

In case of neccesity and only with the consent of enquirer, their information may be shared with relevant parties for a good chance of success.

Erased/ Closure

We respect your wish or decision. The enquirers have right to withdrawn request or change their information any time.
